Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
1. Information I Collect
I only collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, or that is generated automatically through normal use of this website. This includes:
- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number when you fill out the contact form at /contact or send email inquiries.
- Booking Information: Scheduling details, company name, project descriptions, and links submitted when you book a meeting through the integrated Cal.com scheduler at /booking.
- Blog Interaction Data: If you subscribe to updates or leave a comment on any post at /blogs, I collect the email address, name, or comment text you submit. If a given post has neither a subscription form nor comments enabled, this does not apply to that page.
- Usage & Log Data: Anonymized analytical data — page views, time spent on pages, referring URLs, device/browser type, and general geographic region (derived from IP address) — collected via Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to understand traffic and improve the site. My hosting provider (Vercel) also automatically logs IP addresses and request metadata as part of standard server operation.
2. How I Use Your Information
The information collected is used solely for the following purposes:
- To communicate with you, respond to project inquiries, and schedule consultations.
- To deliver agreed-upon software engineering, consulting, and SaaS development services.
- To send blog updates you have explicitly subscribed to (where a subscription option exists), and which you may unsubscribe from at any time.
- To analyze website performance and traffic (using Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics) to improve the interface and content.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
I respect your privacy and do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. I do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). I use the following trusted third-party service providers to operate the site:
- Cal.com: For calendar scheduling and booking management.
- Vercel: For web hosting, application performance monitoring, and analytics.
- Google Analytics: For tracking visitor counts and overall usage metrics.
- Nodemailer / Email Services: For processing contact form submissions securely.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies and security standards.
4. International Visitors & Data Transfers
I work with clients internationally, and this site is hosted on infrastructure that may process and store data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. By using this site or submitting information through it, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country different from your own, which may have data protection laws that differ from those of your jurisdiction. I take reasonable steps to ensure any such transfer is handled securely and only through the reputable service providers listed above.
5. Data Retention
I retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy: contact and booking inquiries are generally retained for the duration of our engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal compliance, and are deleted or anonymized sooner upon your request. Blog subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely, as it does not identify you personally.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This website uses essential cookies and basic tracking identifiers (via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic patterns across the homepage, blog, booking, and contact pages. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so might affect functionality such as meeting bookings. This site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
7. Children's Privacy
This website and my services are not directed to, and are not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided me with personal information, please contact me so I can delete it.
8. Data Security
I implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including secure SSL encryption, server-side environment variable sanitization, and restricted API credentials) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, I will notify you and take reasonable steps to comply with applicable notification laws.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to access, correct, or delete the data you've shared with me; the right to request a copy of your data in a portable format; the right to object to or restrict certain processing; and, if you are in the EU/UK, the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion; as noted above, I do not sell or share personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact me at [email protected].
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
I reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the website or my services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
